However if your child does not attend on a Thursday morning and you wish your child to have their photo taken and if siblings will be joining them to have their photo taken please speak to Claire or Lucy who can arrange an appointment time with you. Thank you.
World Book Day It was great celebrating World Book day with the children. It was great to see so many children dressing up and sharing their books with us. Thank you to all the children that have returned the books that we have lent to the children to take home. The pictures the children have drawn at home about their books have been amazing and the children have really enjoyed sharing their pictures during circle time and talking about what they have liked about the books.
Debutots. Last Thursday Geri from Debutots came into pre-school to provide a taster session of storytelling, singing and acting for the children. We continually strive to provide new and exciting opportunities for the children to learn and development new skills and to support their personal, social and emotional development. Debutots was a great success the children enjoyed listening to the story as Geri encouraged them to join in with the actions of ‘The Jungle Bus’ and to dance to the music. The children really enjoyed using their imagination to add to the story and pretended to be in a jungle. Comments from the children have been “Can Geri come back again” “I want to go on the Jungle Bus again” “It was really fun, I was a monkey”. The children have also been singing the Jungle Bus song. Further information about Debutots can be found at http://debutots.co.uk/ We are looking to book further sessions with Debutots in the near future so other children can take part.
